Dealing with customers isn't my strong suit

I’m not exactly a friendly person, and that’s why I like to work by myself.

There aren’t a lot of jobs that you can do alone, but working as a delivery driver is definitely one of those things.

I have worked as a delivery driver for a lot of different businesses. I was a bike messenger in the city and I also delivered prescriptions for the pharmacy. I delivered car parts all over the county and now I am working for a marijuana delivery service. The marijuana delivery service is open 7 days a week, rain or shine. I definitely prefer to work when the weather is calm, clear, and sunny. When the weather is rainy or stormy, I have a hard time seeing on the roads. I get frazzled easily and that makes me irritable. Last weekend when the rain was awful, I yelled at a customer and got in trouble with the manager at the marijuana dispensary. I was already upset about swerving off the road and nearly falling over the cliff and then the customer wanted to complain to me because there was a $10 item missing from the order. I tried to apologize, but the lady acted like it was the end of the world. Dealing with customers isn’t my strong suit. I yelled at the customer about being ungrateful and I told the lady she should go to the shop if she doesn’t like the delivery service. She called the manager at the marijuana dispensary and yelled at her for ten minutes. I got a formal written warning and the manager sent me home early.
