I really don’t like having to wear a uniform for work. They never look flattering and the shirts are always too tight. I was pretty excited when I got the job at the medical and recreational marijuana dispensary. There was no uniform and a very lenient dress code. Basically I could wear whatever I wanted as long as it was appropriate for a sales environment. I wore my jeans most of the time with a comfortable shirt or blouse. When the manager of the marijuana dispensary told everyone that we were going to start wearing uniform shirts, I was aggravated and a little mad. The shirts that we sold in the dispensary were not very good quality. They were made of a cotton material that was heavy and hot. Thankfully, we found out that our t-shirts were going to be made by a different company. The t-shirts arrived a couple of days ago. They have the name of the marijuana dispensary on the back and the front of the T-shirt has a picture of a cannabis plant. I’m actually quite pleased by the quality of the shirts. The shirts are lightweight and available in a couple of different colors like black, white, and tan. We didn’t have to pay for the shirts either. Each one of the budtenders at the dispensary were issued three shirts for a full-time shift. I can rotate the shirts for three days before I have to worry about doing the laundry. We can also get more in the future if three isn’t enough.
