My bosses and numerous employees were there, however the supplier was still not open
This time of the year is tropical depression season. It’s no surprise to me when there is tropical depression. This season lasts nearly six weeks when the water off the coast is honestly warm. Warmer water is exactly what storms need in order to form. When a tropical storm formed off the coast, it was forecasted to smash into our area head-on.It was only a category 1 storm when it arrived to the area, however it moved honestly slowly and dumped lots of rain. Both of us had sustained winds over 60 miles per hour for half of the day. The whole time it was windy, it was also pouring rain. The rain water built up honestly hastily and made the roads flood throughout most of our town. There was widespread flash flooding, including areas near the airport, river, and the pond. I work at a marijuana dispensary near the airport. I did not suppose if I was going to be able to get all the way to the airport to go to work at the dispensary on that day that the storm occurred. I tried my best to drive there on time and safely. I left my house an hour early. The roads were mostly clear, because everyone were staying home. When I got to the dispensary, I found out that the location was closed. My bosses and numerous employees were there, however the supplier was still not open. There was a lot of flooding in the back of the store. One of the grates that empties stormwater was plugged and blocked and the city couldn’t do anything about the problem until the winds and rain subsided.
