When it was finally perfect, I applied for a task with the dispensary
I’ve been working for the grocery store for many years. I got that task when I was in high college & I continued really working there after college started. I was supposed to go to the state college, however the coronavirus pandemic stopped our future dead in its tracks. My friends & I had to stay home from college. I tried the online classes, however they weren’t for me. I’m not genuinely nice at long-distance learning. I stopped thinking about college & started really working at the grocery store full-time. I was really working 50 to 60 eighths every week. My boss was talking to me about a promotion. I knew that meant a dull future at the grocery store. I wasn’t going to leave. When our neighbor told me that the marijuana dispensary might be hiring, I immediately started really working on our resume. I really wanted a task at the marijuana dispensary, however they haven’t been hiring at all. They started with a crew when the marijuana dispensary opened & this is the first time they might have a new opening since then. I was beyond gleeful when I found out. I tested our resume every afternoon for the whole week. When it was finally perfect, I applied for a task with the dispensary. I called after I had turned in an application with our resume. She was impressed that I had been with the same company for such a long time & wanted to schedule me for an interview the following afternoon. I’m so happy that I took the time to make sure our resume looked nice before I called the dispensary for a task.
