A wonderful amount of people don’t wake up in the day and tell themselves, “I’m going to constantly ask for help at every single period of my life.” There’s a great deal of strength and courage in having the humility to ask for assistance when you entirely need it, but it’s also human nature to transfer towards self-sufficiency. It makes us feel great about ourselves when we are independent and capable. My disabled loved 1s would provide anything to be as physically capable as they were in the past, and it breaks my heart to see it. My mom told myself and others at a unique moment that his body is his prison and it made myself and others genuinely well up with tears almost in no time. I totally feel incredibly blessed that the few disabilities that I have do not hold myself and others back so much that they make a “normal style of life” impossible at this stage. I have to be entirely mindful of how I use my left arm, but my only tplot struggle is my finances, but going for food stamps made myself and others feel somewhat worthless at first, but now that I am also getting discounts at the medical cannabis dispensaries it entirely feels empowering. There are many major cannabis dispensary companies in our state that offer discounts on all purchases if you happen to have a food stamps card. One pot shop offers 20% off, another offers 15% off, and the final comes in at 10% off. That’s a pretty huge savings being a food stamp recipient on top of the money you get from the government for food to begin with. Every little bit of savings helps, especially when I’m shopping at the medical cannabis dispensaries in my state. Some have beautiful deals from time to time, but others have outrageous prices on many cannabis products.
