I thought a picture of a giant cannabis leaf was perfect for the first page on my website.

My sister and I were trying to create a beautiful web design for our online cannabis dispensary.

When I came up with the idea to put a giant cannabis leaf on the first page, she started giggling.

Her giggle had me giggling, and for the next 15 minutes we got no work done. When we finally calmed down to look at the giant cannabis leaf, I knew it was a terrible idea. She put her hand on my shoulder and looked me in the eye while telling me she really didn’t want me touching the webpage unless she was there to see what I was doing. Jenny had gone to school for web design right out of high school. She knew a lot about how to add keywords into the webpages, so that when someone searched for online cannabis dispensaries, my website would come up on the first page. She knew how to do social media ads, and how to get our online cannabis dispensary on all the social media accounts sites. We signed up on every social media account that was possible to be found. Jenny was brilliant with web design, but I was brilliant at bringing in sales. Working together was a lot of fun, and a lot of work. The first year brought in enough income that it nearly paid for the online cannabis dispensary inventory. I was proud of the business we created, and the web design she created. I have a feeling that it won’t be long before we can open a second online cannabis dispensary. I want to be available to anyone who wants cannabis products, and different web designs, offer unique designs to appeal to everyone.
