Pot brownies were a big hit at the old folks home

I first met my Uncle Bob when he was placed into an old folks home nearby where I live.

I had only met him a few times in my life, and didn’t know him very well, but once he got transferred here I started going by to see him.

He was old and lonely, and as a member of the family I felt obligated to support him in some small way. Uncle Bob turned out to be a pretty nice guy, with a lot of great stories about my dad from the old days. After one visit, Bob took out a sizable jar of cannabis and handed it to me. “I want to ask you a favor, take his marijuana and bake it into some pot brownies for me.” He explained that the old folks home had a strict policy of no smoking, and as a long-time marijuana smoker he was desperate to get high! Although I had never made pot brownies before I just looked up a few tips and pointers online, and made two pans that night. The next day I took them to Uncle Bob, who took one bite and said they were the worst pot brownies he had ever tasted. Then he thanked me, gave me a bunch more marijuana, and told me to do better the next time. I was shocked that Bob would be able to eat so many pot brownies by himself, but he said he was sharing them with a lot of other residents. He had a lot of friends and neighbors that wanted some pot brownies.
