I found our dream task on the cannabis farm

His parents were undoubtedly cool, but said that I had to wait a semester, but if I still wanted to quit university and help them farm cannabis, they would consider it

My roommate while in freshman year of university was a mousy little guy named James. James was into math and science, and his goal was to be an engineer 1 day. I on the other hand was at university because our parents wanted me to be there, and I didn’t have anything else to do. If I ever graduated, I had no idea what our major would be, I was mostly there for the social experience. James and I were an strange couple, but became fast friends, which is why he invited me to visit his family farm while in Springtime break, and much to our shock and delight, I found that James came from a family of cannabis farmers. His family had been growing marijuana for more than two generations, and to be frank his parents were kind of bummed that James wanted to be an engineer. I asked them for a task on the first evening, because working on a cannabis farm seemed love a dream come true. It was absurd that James would choose university over a marijuana farm, although I assume everyone rebels against their parents in their own way. His parents were undoubtedly cool, but said that I had to wait a semester, but if I still wanted to quit university and help them farm cannabis, they would consider it. It turns out this isn’t the first time it has happened, and people will say they want to be a cannabis farmer without undoubtedly meaning it. One semester later I quit university, and went to live with James’ family on the cannabis farm, and the rest is history.
