I couldn't believe I couldn’t find my favorite marijuana.

My boyfriend and I went on a cross-country trip. We had been using the same brand marijuana for quite some time, and we thought it was something you could get anywhere. We were so wrong. We got to this one state and headed to the closest marijuana dispensary. Since we were in a state that had recreational marijuana, we wanted to get the marijuana we had used in the past. Normally Rick Simpson oil is easy to get. You can find it in most cannabis shops in our area, and they always have edible products in the store. I walked in and asked if they had RSO? She looked at me like I was from another planet. She said she didn’t even know what RSO was, but maybe if I went to another cannabis dispensary. We went to several different marijuana dispensaries, but we kept coming up empty handed. We had been on the road for almost three weeks, and thus far, we hadn’t bound any RSO products. I was beginning to wonder if they didn’t have this strain in any other place but our home state. We found one distillate that was RSO, but it was nice. It was a vapable distillate that came from the cannabis sativa plant. Distillate is the concentrated oil that is removed from the marijuana plant through heat or cold pressed. There shouldn’t be any flavor, but if terpenes are added to the distillate, it gets flavor and depth. I would have preferred RSO, but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack in this part of the country.
